Fritz Hansen Series 7 Chair in Teak by Arne Jacobsen
Fritz Hansen Series 7 Chair in Teak by Arne Jacobsen
Designed by Arne Jacobsen for Fritz Hansen, the Series 7 chair is one of the most recognisable classics of Scandinavian modern design. Originally introduced in 1955, the chair combines a lightweight silhouette with a gently curved plywood shell designed to support the body comfortably.
This example features a warm teak-veneered seat and backrest paired with slender chrome-plated steel legs. The rich wood grain gives the chair a softer and more distinctive appearance while preserving the clean, sculptural character of Jacobsen’s original design. Suitable as a dining chair, desk chair or individual accent chair.
Measurements: Width 50 cm; Depth 52 cm; Height 80 cm. The chair’s scale and clear profile allow it to work naturally as an individual seating piece in both contemporary and vintage interiors.
Good vintage condition. The wooden shell shows minor wear, marks and natural patina from age and use, but the overall appearance remains clean and well preserved. The chair is structurally solid and ready for everyday use. Please review all images for details.
