Yrjö Kukkapuro Junior Swivel Chairs in Brown Leather

Designed by Yrjö Kukkapuro, the Junior chair is one of the more playful and sculptural Finnish seating designs from the postmodern period. This set features freshly reupholstered leather upholstery in a warm reddish brown tone combined with white swivel bases, creating a strong contrast typical of Kukkapuro’s work.

The curved shell form and integrated armrests give the chairs a soft and comfortable seating position, while the rotating bases make them practical for dining, workspace or lounge use. The flowing silhouette and pedestal base construction give the design its recognizable futuristic appearance.

Chairs are sold individually. Price is per one chair. The chair’s scale and clear profile allow it to work naturally as an individual seating piece in both contemporary and vintage interiors.

This set is in very good condition. The chairs have been newly reupholstered in leather and have not been used since the reupholstery work was completed. The swivel mechanisms function properly and the overall presentation remains exceptionally clean. Please review all images for details.
